Breaking Out of The Smoke

Based in California, we are enduring another week of smoky skies, if you are inside, you'd think its a late October foggy day, not end-of-summer 95+ humid cooker.

Driving around one needs daytime running lights in some areas, and you find you are looking for company lights to know whose open and to identify where you are, esp. later in the day and early evening.

The question we face, "does your clients know you are still in business, still ready to step-up and serve them?"
The easy way to try and gain attention is an email blast, but how many have you gotten today alone? I've already deleted over 50 and its not even 10:00 am, with an expected 250 more to come in (this is after all the rules and blocks on my account)- not very effective, though inexpensive.

In the past we'd go see our clients, and we pray that day will be coming again soon, but a limited option-
Do we try to run a non-stop series of web conference calls? Doable but still we may face limited access by clients and have time windows each day... what's left?

Old fashion mail- cards, letters, gift sets- whatever you can dream to send. We have been sending food gift packs to homes, cards and more. For the recipients it feels like Christmas, a touch of humanity that is more personal and leaves a longer impression. From custom boxes, envelopes to personalized cards, letters, labels and even merchandise- you can drip care on your staff, clients and suppliers while staying top-of-mind.

Want to experience it? Shoot me an email (bob@nds-solutions.com) to enter a weekly drawing to receive a food gift from NDS (put #Gift in subject line, and send us your Company name, contact info and address), a $30.00 value*.

So let's work together, let our clients know "WE ARE OPEN" and ready to be a help!

Stay well, safe and smoke free :)

ECO IS HOT! According to industry surveys, 45% of consumers in the 11 Western states have a stronger impression of advertisers who use and promote environmentally friendly products. *                   It's not like the "old days" when eco products were scratchy, poor quality and unappealing.

Small Things Add-Up  I believe we succeed by how faithful we are 1st in how we handle small things, then we are entrusted with bigger things. There are many stories of those getting the "golden" ring to implode on the rock of fame and fortune. This became clearer when I relooked at my favorite Saturday habit, my cheat day run to BJ's, baked pecan rolls, donuts and more- The owners are special people, running a loyal staff who churn out donuts so good that people will wait in line 40 deep to get their fix. It boggles my mind to get a handle how many donuts they sell to afford to have a comfortable lifestyle (they talk about pounds of dough vs donut count)- Many of us look for that "homerun sale", "BIG DEAL" but steady and consistent equates to success by any measure. Take a moment, grab a donut and reflect on how small things really do add up t bigger things!
