Branding in a Tough Economy

In today's tough market place, you have to keep the proverbial neon sign flashing- "I am in business, I am in business, I am in business"

Keeping your brand visible, strong, positive and focused will set you apart, maybe even be the key difference in being selected verses overlooked.

Step back from your business, walk back in (mentally or physically) and review what you see with new eyes, the eyes of your prospective buyers. Does it make a statement of clean, fresh, edgy, top-of-the-line or seem raveled at the edges, sad or even desperate? Can you identify the "core value" which the business operates from- what is your primary focus and goal; does the client know it without a lot of words and explanations?

How does your "brand" confirm or deny the message?

Hard questions, harder answers which are required to send the most impactive message possible!

Cutting through the clutter and showing value starts with the first impression- your signature of who you are as a business, i.e. your brand!

ECO IS HOT! According to industry surveys, 45% of consumers in the 11 Western states have a stronger impression of advertisers who use and promote environmentally friendly products. *                   It's not like the "old days" when eco products were scratchy, poor quality and unappealing.
NDS is 2 days away from hosting one of the largest promo shows in NorCal- some call what we sell "trash-n-trinkets", but the size and impact of the industry shows it's far more than that- just look at what the ASI Industry Impressions Study* revealed for the lifetime number of impressions by product.  What else can you think of that has the reach and impact as promotional items, most of us aren't "influencers" but we still influence many around us by what we wear, handout or sell.  As you walk about, consider all the billboards (people you pass) and what they are advertising and ask, "how can I get them to rock my brand?" Maybe a lot easier than you think, just need to find the right product and message and you can be memorable!  Oh, we'd be honored to help you along the way~ *Source ASI 2023 Impressions Study

Part of being successful in business and life in general, is to not let the rush overwhelm you that you lose sight of the goal, that you miss the journey as well. Coach John Wooden said it best, "Be quick but don't hurry"  It's summer, lot of great opportunities ahead, kick it into gear and enjoy the ride!
